The walks are usually about 7- 8 miles and notification is given of longer distances. Most walks are fairly local so not a lot of travelling is involved. A degree of fitness is required since the walks may be hilly or across rougher moorland tracks.
Waterproof clothing, boots and packed lunch are essential.
Prospective members should contact the group leader so that transport can be arranged if necessary.
The central gathering point for each walk is at 10.00 on QS (Big Value) car park.
Very occasionally we have special outings using coach or train and these will incur additional cost.
