Meeting times and duration of meetings are variable depending on venues and type of activity.

The group visits locations suitable for studying flowers, birds, butterflies, bats, mni-beasts fungi, trees and pond-life.  All walks are short and easily accessible.

A packed lunch, waterproofs and stout shoes or boots are essential.  A pair of binoculars comes in handy.

We are a friendly group and most sessions end with a visit to a cafe for refreshments  and socialising.

Destinations can be near or far, for example : Roddlesworth, Birkacre, Grassington, Gaitbarrows.
Transport is by car sharing , for environmental reasons, and travel expenses are also shared.

Denny will attempt to arrange car sharing, so it is important members inform her a day or two before a meeting if they are NOT coming.

Car drivers are asked to make arrangements with their normal passengers and keep Denny informed if they have spare places or if any difficulties occur.
